I work out of state and my wife called just before the 4th of July to inform me that our wall mount garage door opener had an issue where the support cable came off of the spool causing the door to jam and bind up. She could not get the car out of the garage. The local company who installed the door closed their shop in the Springs. Luckily, my wife got a tip from All Things Garage who had recently installed some cabinets for us. We were told to contact Pikes Peak Overhead Doors. My wife called Pikes Peak and they sent someone out that morning to make some adjustments. This event occurred again on the 4th of July. They answered the phone when I called (yes, on the 4th), but could not get anyone over due to the holiday. But, they had someone (Bob) there the following morning. Bob, made several adjustments and did a great job on the repairs. He was very knowledgeable and personable, answering all my questions. Our garage door decided it was done closing and wanted to stay in the open position. Checked all the normal culprits (sensors, etc) and couldn't figure it out. PPOD installed the garage doors on our new home. They were very responsive, professional, and did a great job. When our door openers gave us a minor technical problem, they came out and promptly corrected it. A major winter storm was coming in on Monday afternoon with snow and severe wind chill. I called Robert and he scheduled his tech to my house first thing Monday morning! I wish I could remember the tech's name because his service was amazing. The tech targeted the issue quickly and was even more efficient in resolving the issue. I bought a house and the doors did not have openers. After the initial inspection it was determined that I would require side mounted openers as my ceiling was too low for regular ones. At no fault of the the company (side openers are more touchy than overhead ones, and harder to see problems at first), one of the doors had massive issues into the future, and I had to have them come out a couple of times to finally get the opener and door to work properly. As all the work was under warranty I didn't have to pay a penny on the other visits - no arguing, no haggling, no reimbursement process, nothing - they just came and fixed the problems.
